Joseph Malters, M.D.
Board Certified Dermatoigist
Joseph Malters, M.D., is a board-certified dermatologist with the Academy of Dermatology. His training includes a year of internship at San Diego Naval Hospital and dermatology residence training at the University of Missouri-Columbia. He has been in private practice since 1992, including 10 years in Brainerd, MN and the last 19 years practicing in Rolla, MO. Dr. Malters' clinical interests include general medical dermatology, skin cancer detection, and surgery.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Malters enjoys training his Upland bird hunting dogs and various shooting sports.

Cristy Kruse, RN
Licensed Nurse Esthetician
With 25+ years of cosmetic nursing experience, Cristy offers a wide variety of procedures to enhance the beauty and well-being of her patients. Cristy graduated from St. John's School of Nursing in Springfield, MO in 1989. She would later become the nurse for a general surgeon, where she assisted with surgeries and trained in cosmetic nursing. After gaining many years of experience, she was welcomed to The Dermatology Center of Rolla as their very own esthetic nurse, and has happily called it home for 17 years.

Carrie Manning Rogala, LME
Licensed Medical Esthetician, Certified Laser Specialist
Carrie brings 25+ years of extensive specialized skin experience to Phelps County. She is a licensed Medical Esthetician and certified Laser Specialist. Prior to joining our team, Carrie practiced in California and trained under Dr. Michael B. Stevens, M.D. Ph.D. F.A.C.S. owner of Creekside Day Spa, Skin and Laser Center and owner of Mill Creek Ambulatory Surgery Center. Dr. Michael B. Stevens partners with Dr. Zein E. Obagi of Beverly Hills, CA, Founder and owner of the ZO Skin Health. Carrie joined the Dermatology & Aesthetic Center is 2021 and was voted Phelps County's "Best Esthetician" for 2022-2023.

William Stoecker, M.D.
Board Certified Dermatologist
William V. Stoecker, M.D. , is a dermatologist, board-certified with the American Academy of Dermatology. After earning his degrees in mathematics at Caltech and systems science at UCLA, he graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Medicine with Honors. Dr. Stoecker has practiced medicine with the Dermatology & Aesthetics team since 1982. Dr. Stoecker has served as the President of the International Society of Digital Imaging of the Skin, Chair for the Task Force on Computers and Internet for the American Academy of Dermatology, Board of Directors for the Missouri Dermatologic Society, and Chair of the Institutional Research Board for Phelps Health. With nearly 40 years of experience, Dr. Stoecker is an expert in treating various skin problems, conditions, and diseases. His clinical interests include general dermatology, skin cancer detection, and skin surgery. In addition to practicing dermatology, Dr. Stoecker works as a research scientist and CEO of S&A Technologies, dedicated to bringing skin innovations to the market. Dr. Stoecker is the author or co-author of over 110 articles and one book, primarily on digital imaging and skin cancer detection.
Outside of the office, Dr. Stoecker enjoys swimming, running, and activities with his wife, three sons, and five grandchildren.
